DESCRIPTION:MI-CEMI’s Communications Roundtable is a quarterly gathering designed to help advocates\, communications professionals\, storytellers\, organizers and community members strengthen their communications skills and build connections across Michigan’s criminal legal reform movement. \nEach roundtable explores a different communications topic\, providing opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners\, share ideas\, discover new tools and strategies\, and discuss effective approaches to public education\, storytelling\, media engagement\, digital communications and narrative change. \nWhether focused on social media\, podcasting\, documentary filmmaking\, writing\, messaging or emerging communications trends\, the Communications Roundtable creates a space for participants to learn\, collaborate and better communicate the need for criminal legal system reform. \nTo receive updates\, resources and meeting notices\, email mail@mi-cemi.org and request to join the Communications Roundtable Google Group. Event registrants are also added to the Google Group and will receive future updates\, resources and invitations related to the roundtable.
