Michigan’s sex offense law is more\nencompassing than you think – over 40\,000 people are on its Registry\, and about 1\,000\nmust wear an electronic ankle tether for life. There are numerous online attractions that can\nlure the unwary\, from pornography to sexting to stings. Young people especially\, don’t know\nwhat’s legal or illegal\, and often don’t think about future consequences.
