DESCRIPTION:Join us as we publicly launch Reimagining Safety Michigan\, a statewide effort building a bold vision for a Michigan rooted in care\, collective governance\, and community accountability — not policing and prisons. \nThis Kick-off & Training will introduce a powerful set of tools and resources developed over the past year and a half by nine partner organizations\, including a Platform of Abolitionist Priorities for Michigan\, a voter-focused call-to-action for the Governor and Attorney General\, a transformative toolkit\, and interactive power and landscape maps. \nAttendees will have the opportunity to connect\, learn\, and begin engaging with these resources together. Childcare will be provided. \nThis event is part of a two-part launch series.
