Proposed bill brings second chances to thousands of Michigan residents.
Senator Chang is the sponsor behind the Second Look bill package (House Bills 4556 – 4560 and Senate Bills 321 – 325) that offers second chances for individuals serving long prison sentences in Michigan. When passed, the bill would allow incarcerated persons to apply for a reduced sentence after serving a minimum of ten years.

When: Wednesday, April 19. Rally at 8:30am, Press conference at 9am, legislative lit drops at 10am.

A Day of Community Action
You’re invited for a day of action as community members join together from all across the state on Wednesday April 19th in Lansing Michigan in support of Senator Chang’s Second Look Bill. Together we’ll meet on the capitol steps at 8:30 AM with our support signage in hand. Then, at 9am the press conference we will have a press conference to announce the bill. After the press conference, those that have volunteered will meet to pass out informative packets to our legislatures.
