Inaugural National LWOP Awareness Day
October 24
Did you know what “life without parole” really means in America?
Extreme sentencing operates under the belief that human transformation is impossible – keeping people in prison for 30, 40, or 50 years without a single opportunity to appear before a parole board. In practice, it’s death by incarceration.
But we believe in human growth, accountability, and redemption.
October 24, is the inaugural National Life Without Parole Awareness Day. Stand with Drop LWOP New England and over 25 partner organizations nationwide to restore the right to hope.
