The Michigan Collaborative to End Mass Incarceration (MI-CEMI), is a broad-based, member drive, statewide, non-partisan collaboration representing non-profit, faith-based, advocacy, grassroots, and service organizations united to end mass incarceration in Michigan. The Collaborative seeks to create and restore healthy communities.
MI-CEMI’s members, including individuals and organizations committed to criminal justice reform, play a vital role in driving change. By joining, you become part of a powerful movement dedicated to ending mass incarceration and restoring healthy communities in Michigan.
Steering Team Members
Steering Team membership is reserved for organizations that wish to take an active leadership role within MI-CEMI. Steering Team members help shape our strategic direction, engage deeply in policy advocacy, and drive collaborative initiatives to end mass incarceration. This membership includes annual dues to support our work and ensure sustained impact. Join us in leading the movement for transformative justice in Michigan.
Organizational Members
Organizational membership is open to organizations that are committed to supporting MI-CEMI’s mission to end mass incarceration in Michigan. By joining as an organizational member, your group will contribute to transformative criminal and juvenile justice reforms. Membership is free, though contributions to support our work are appreciated!
General Members
General membership is open to any individuals, including currently and formerly incarcerated people, or organizations that support ending mass incarceration in Michigan through criminal and juvenile justice reforms. General Membership is free, but donations are always welcome!
