Virtual Event
Join Citizens for Prison Reform’s Family Participation Program for a special virtual community meeting featuring Laurie Pohutsky focused on how families impacted by incarceration can turn lived experience into meaningful advocacy.
Representative Pohutsky has been actively involved in raising awareness about conditions inside Michigan prisons, including recent hearings connected to Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility. During this conversation, attendees will learn practical ways to connect with elected officials, request meetings, attend local coffee hours, and share personal experiences in ways that build understanding and create change.
This event is open to families, directly impacted individuals, advocates, and community members interested in strengthening relationships between lawmakers and the people most affected by incarceration policies.
