Join Kristen Staley, Executive Director of the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission (MIDC), on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 9:00–10:00 AM for a discussion on Youth Defense Services in Michigan.
Kristen will discuss the current state of Michigan’s public defense system, highlighting recent successes, ongoing challenges, and opportunities for growth, with a particular focus on strengthening youth defense services statewide.
The Michigan Indigent Defense Commission works to ensure Michigan’s public defense system is fair, cost-effective, and constitutional.
