This fall, MI-CEMI’s Learning Community will explore how restorative justice (RJ) and community violence intervention (CVI) strategies can intersect across the criminal legal system—from prevention and diversion to healing during incarceration and support after reentry.

A panel of leaders will share how restorative practices and CVI strategies are preventing incarceration, fostering accountability inside prison, supporting people as they return home, and offering alternatives to long and extreme sentences.
