Reimagining Safety: Kick-off & Training

Join us as we publicly launch Reimagining Safety Michigan, a statewide effort building a bold vision for a Michigan rooted in care, collective governance, and community accountability — not policing and prisons.

This Kick-off & Training will introduce a powerful set of tools and resources developed over the past year and a half by nine partner organizations, including a Platform of Abolitionist Priorities for Michigan, a voter-focused call-to-action for the Governor and Attorney General, a transformative toolkit, and interactive power and landscape maps.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect, learn, and begin engaging with these resources together. Childcare will be provided.

This event is part of a two-part launch series. We invite you to also join us for the Mass Convening: Dreaming Forward & Organizing Power on May 16 in Lansing to continue building strategy and community across the state.
